ICGV87187 is a Spanish-type variety with a decumbent 2 to decumbent 3 growth habit, matures in 110-120 days and has a shelling turnover of 70%. It is photoperiod insensitive. Mean pod yield of ICGV87187 in zone II during 1980-87 ranged from 2.14 to 4.34 t/ha, an average increase of 41.5% over the control variety J11.
