This book will explore how artists’ ideas might be described in an overtly emotional and demonstrative manner through short pieces of creative writing. Text will describe the artist's creative and mental processes when creating an artwork. The text is an artwork in its own right, but there are no constraints as to what form this may take.A book will be published, launch events and book readings by actors will be organised for a number of public venues throughout England and Scotland during 2019.The work will be critically interpreted by viewers and readers, spectators and audiences, actively encouraging participants at the events to respond imaginatively through their own acts of creative criticism. Performances will take place within decorative domestic installations, places where participants will be free to lie down, relax and close their eyes to imagine through listening. Through this process, audiences, participants and collaborators will have an opportunity to engage with the book’s range of creative process and subsequently produce their own texts/artworks.
