The following article presents a prosopographical analysis of the CEO who commanded the subsidiaries of Argentina's largest multinational companies between 2003 and 2015. Based on the construction of an original typology of managerial profiles, this work shows, contrary to the perceptions of the press and of different actors linked to the business community in the country, that the multinational companies prioritized the election of CEO with a solid managerial training and with the possession of the so-called "global competences", over those characterized by a high level of local political ties.
