AbstractIn about 1–2% of the population an incomplete regression of the embryonic mammary line occurs, which may result in the presence of ectopic breast tissue. An ectopic breast tissue carcinoma is a rare entity. The authors present a case-report of a 51-year-old female patient, with a lobular carcinoma in an axillary ectopic breast tissue submitted to surgery and adjuvant radiotherapy
