Ectopic breast carcinoma: A case report

Data about the occurrence of primary carcinoma in ectopic breast tissue are rare and limited to small case series. Nowadays, its diagnosis and management are not definitively established. We report the case of a 61‑year‑old woman with primary carcinoma originating from the left axillary ectopic breast which was treated surgically by ectopic breast mastectomy with axillary lymph node dissection.Keywords: Axilla; carcinoma; ectopic breas
