ANALISIS YURIDIS PERBEDAAN HASIL OTOPSI KEDOKTERAN FORENSIK DAN UNIT INAFIS DALAM PROSES PENYIDIKAN TINDAK PIDANA PEMBUNUHAN (STUDI KASUS POLRES MALANG KOTA)

There are cases of murder and discovery of corpses in the city of Malang every year, especially the discovery of dead bodies leads to murder. Not all crime scenes are still sterile, some findings of victims died more than 1 day, in investigations especially police investigators do not always walk smoothly because the damage to the crime scene or the lack of witnesses, certainly makes the police investigator careful in concluding the cause and effect arising from someone's death, in an investigation specifically INAFIS (Indonesia Automatic Fingerprint System) assisted by forensic laboratories. It is necessary to know the role of INAFIS units and forensic medicine in the process of investigating criminal acts of murder and resolution if there are differences in the results of INAFIS with forensic medicine in the investigation of criminal acts of murder. This study use a sociological juridical approach, primary data sources obtained from Malang City Police, secondary data sources from books about criminal acts of murder and Law Number 2 of 2002 concerning Police, data collection techniques in the form of interviews with INAFIS Malang City Police Paur Ident. INAFIS function is to go to the crime scene, take fingerprints, photos, look for evidence that is assisted by Criminal Investigators in the search for witness information, crime scene testing, conclude the results of the investigation in the form of news results that are used to complete the examination program Forensic medicine looks for evidence or evidence in a person's body, forensic laboratories produce autopsy and post mortem results. In an investigation if there are differences in the results of police investigations with forensic medicine, investigators must look for evidence in accordance with what was found by forensic medicin
