PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA SOSIAL INSTAGRAM TERHADAP PERILAKU CYBERBULLYING PADA MAHASISWA UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH MALANG (STUDI PADA MAHASISWA ILMU KOMUNIKASI ANGKATAN 2015)

The phenomenon of Cyberbullying is rife with the development of technology and information. One of the factors of cyberbullying is the behavior of social media users. This study aims to learn how to use Instagram social media on cyberbullying behavior on students at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. The theories used in this research are uses and effects. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with an associative correlation category (explanatory). In this study as many as 44 respondents from a total of 321 subjects. Then the researchers used probability sampling techniques in the sample collection. And the analysis used in this study is testing product moments from Karl Pearson. The data that has been obtained from the results of the statistical test t is 0.923 with a probability of 0.362. The test results show | test statistics t | level of significance (α = 5%). This means that it is not important to use Instagram social media on cyberbullying behavior. This can help using social media Instagram can affect users to take Cyberbullying actions
