Micrographs of bacteriophages from Lake Elmenteita showing different morphotypes. CsCl-purified bacteriophage preparations were negatively stained with 2% (w/v) aqueous uranyl acetate (pH 5.0). Samples were examined in a TEM 910 transmission electron microscope (Carl Zeiss, Oberkochen) at an acceleration voltage of 80 kV.</p
