Interculture as heritage and practice. CEINCE, an intercultural structure

[Abstract] This article examines interculture from two different standpoints: as the result or effect of the influence of heritage on citizenship education and as a structure that controls the sociability of individuals. The first perspective is explained using an analysis of the intercultural context of CEINCE, made up of the cultural heritage from the intermingling of cultures over the course of many years. The second view is examined through an analysis of the interactive practices translated into the measures, texts and networks that define the institution’s actions. The study closes with a multi-faceted hermeneutic proposal that will allow for the interpretation of the patterns of otherness as ways to build interculture[Resumen] El presente trabajo examina la intercultura bajo dos puntos de vista, como resultado o efecto de la influencia del patrimonio en la educación de la ciudadanía y como construcción que opera en la sociabilidad de los sujetos. La primera perspectiva se ilustra mediante el análisis del contexto intercultural en el que se inscribe el CEINCE, configurado por los bienes culturales que son resultado del cruce de culturas a lo largo de muchos años. La segunda se examina a través del análisis de las prácticas interactivas que se materializan en las acciones, textos y redes que definen la acción de la institución. El estudio se cierra con una propuesta hermenéutica pluritópica que permita interpretar las tramas de alteridad como formas de construcción de la intercultura
