Mikrozephalie (MC) bezeichnet einen Kopfumfang, der mehr als zwei Standardabweichungen unterhalb des entsprechenden Durchschnitts liegt. Die Genese der MC ist heterogen, der Phänotyp variabel und das Spektrum assoziierter Erkrankungen groß. Ziel der Arbeit ist die Erstellung einer Datenbank zur Erfassung (i) der angenommenen Pathogenese der MC, (ii) der Prävalenz der ZNS Struktur-Veränderungen, (iii) des Phänotypspektrums kindlicher MC und assoziierter Erkrankungen und (iv) des diagnostischen Vorgehens.
