Ziel der vorliegenden Untersuchungen war es, die verschiedenen technologischen Aspekte der Gefrierkonservierung von Bullensperma bezüglich der Verringerung der Gesamtspermienzahl pro Besamungsportion zu verbessern. Ein anderes Ziel war die Ermittlung des Zusammenhangs zwischen spermatologischen Parametern und der Fertilität von Besamungsbullen in Form der NRR sowie die Darstellung einer Kombination und Gewichtung der Parameter, die eine hohe Vorhersage der NRR ermöglichen. Im ersten Abschnitt wurde eine Kontrolle der Homogenität von Besamungsportionen hinsichtlich der Spermienzahlen und der Spermaqualität durchgeführt.
