Cinema, Audiovisual and Technical Itineraries

Since the gestation of modern cinema and its theorization -particularly the one that Bazin derives from their techniques conditions- , there is a long way to contemporary cinema. This path can be thought from the adoption and film processing by a series of technological changes. Given the current conditions that brings about the invention of new digital technology we will, initially, attempt mutations, it means, the new conditions imposed by the digitization of cinema in both its aesthetics and its mode of production and dissemination. That is, the emergence of this new technology not only allows the making of unusual images, and increasingly rapid change, but also enables new forms of production, distribution and access. This situation must be inserted into a broader theoretical and historical context, taking some elements of the philosophy of art, art history, aesthetic theory, film criticism and film theory.Desde la gestación del cine moderno y su teorización - particularmente la que lleva a cabo Bazin a partir de sus condiciones técnicas-, existe un largo recorrido hasta el cine contemporáneo. Este trayecto puede pensarse desde la adopción y procesamiento por parte del cine de una serie de transformaciones tecnológicas. Dada las actuales condiciones que trae aparejada la invención de nuevas tecnologías digitales deberemos, en un principio, revisar las mutaciones, vale decir, las nuevas condiciones que impone la digitalización del cine tanto en su estética como en su forma de producción y difusión. Es decir, la irrupción de esta nueva tecnología no sólo posibilita la confección de imágenes inéditas, y su cada vez más rápida transformación, sino también posibilita nuevas formas de producción, distribución y acceso. Esta coyuntura hay que insertarla en un contexto teórico e histórico más amplio, tomando algunos elementos de filosofía de la técnica, historia del arte, teoría estética, crítica cinematográfica y teorías del cine
