This contribution illustrates the teaching experience carried out during the course in "Technological Planning of Sanitation-Environmental Systems" (academic year 2008-09; lecturer: Prof. Ing. Rossella Franchino) on the degree course in New Construction Quality and Contexts at the faculty of Architecture of Seconda Università di Napoli. The aim of this experiment was the recovery of rainwater from a building and its reuse. The building was considered the central element in the water-use cycle as we examined the rainwater collection system, the treatment of the rainwater, its storage and finally its distribution for reuse.
