The pulpit in the Church of the Lord Revelation for St. Mary the Virgin in Kretinga dates back to the first half of the 17th century. It is a large multi-edged stand elevated on a high support. Its walls are decorated with round columns, including semicircular niches with twelve apostles. The pulpit and its support are embellished with sculptural decorative caps and carvings. Historical and art data is scarce; there is no strong opinion about the art school or environment where this object could have been created; the author is unknown (it seems that art historian Marija Matušakaitė is more inclined to attribute these pieces of art to local school when discussing the artistic properties of the sculptures).
