Research of Šiauliai University students' need physical education

Straipsnyje atskleidžiamas Šiaulių universiteto Edukologijos fakulteto PUP (pradinio ugdymo pedagogikos) specialybės III kurso studenčių požiūris į kūno kultūrą bei asmeninė jų fizinė veikla laisvalaikiu. Apklausos metodu nustatytas pozityvus požiūris į kūno kultūros pratybas pagal pomėgį ir interesus. Tai skatina studenčių fizinį aktyvumą.The research presented in the article was aimed at revealing the attitudes towards physical education and factors, influencing physical activity in the teacher training process. The research subjects were 3d year female students, would-be primary school teachers of the Faculty of Education Šiauliai University. It has been established by means of the opinion poll that attitudes of students towards physical education are positive but their personal physical activity is insufficient. Efficient means of pedagogical influence, inducing the students to exercise independently, could be the exercises, meeting their liking and interests, are more positive emotional experiences during the physical activity
