POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS E LINGUÍSTICAS: ESTRATÉGIAS E DESAFIOS NO COMBATE ÀS DESIGUALDADES SOCIAIS EM MOÇAMBIQUE

The democratic world in which most African countries are inserted has created problems, rather than solving problems that affect the population directly. Mozambique has a new state because it reached independence in 1975 and went through five electoral processes. Most of these electoral suffrages are not recognized by the opposition. This research aims to discuss the influence of public and linguistic policies on the life of Mozambicans and show possible ways for a policy that serves the interests of the population. By using a bibliographic method and searching for researchers who discuss public policies and linguistic policies, it has come to the conclusion that there is a need to involve society (in the true sense of the word) in making decisions and solving social problems. It was concluded that Portuguese is an official language, but at the same time, it segregates a majority that is not literate. We need to discuss ways of overcoming the linguistic and social differences, thus creating an environment sane and harmonic.O mundo democrático em que a maioria dos países africanos se inseriu têm criado problemas ao invés de solucionar, que afetam diretamente é população. Moçambique possui um Estado novo porque alcançou a independência em 1975 e passou por 5 processos eleitorais. A maioria desas eleições não são reconhecidos pela oposição. A pesquisa visa discutir a influência das políticas públicas e linguísticas na vida dos moçambicanos e mostrar caminhos possíveis para uma política que atenda os interesses da população. Usando um método bibliográfico e buscando pesquisadores que discutem as políticas públicas e políticas linguísticas se chegou à conclusão de que há necessidade de envolver a sociedade (no sentido verdadeiro da palavra) na tomada de decisões e na resolução dos problemas sociais. Concluiu-se que o português é a língua oficial, mas ao mesmo tempo segrega uma maioria que não é alfabetizada. Precisamos discutir formas de ultrapassar as diferenças linguísticas e sociais criando assim, um ambiente são e com harmonia
