The democratic world in which most African countries are inserted has created problems, rather than solving problems that affect the population directly. Mozambique has a new state because it reached independence in 1975 and went through five electoral processes. Most of these electoral suffrages are not recognized by the opposition. This research aims to discuss the influence of public and linguistic policies on the life of Mozambicans and show possible ways for a policy that serves the interests of the population.
