The use of computed tomography (CT) has increased in number during the last decade. Patients undergoing CT scans are exposed to ionizing radiation that can lead to radiation-induced damage. Radiation hygenic reflections are required as well as radiation reducing measures to optimize CT surveys. The purpose of this integrative review was to compile radiation reductive measures for CT surveys. Based on the purpose, the questions were designed from the issue: - Are radiation reductive measures relevant? How can the radiograph optimize radiation dose?
