Studie om samverkansprojekt kontra traditionell entreprenad

The construction industry has long been regarded as a relatively fragmented industry where the three major points, clients, designers and contractors are pulling in different parts of a project. The parties often create their own goals, which in fact benefit more to themselves than to the actual project. With this conservative approach follows that neither the projects quality, cost or budget is getting better and that the schedule of the project is often not good enough.To overcome this problem a new work model is beginning to emerge in Sweden called increased cooperation, also named partnering. Increased cooperation is applicable to all existing contracting and procurement forms. It is simply a tool that the project will be assigned to solve simpler problems that occurs from the start to the final phase of the project. The basic principle of increased cooperation is that the project will keep the manufacture flow going like is should, but often does not happen. Everyone involved in a project will learn to collaborate and have the same common goal to strive for, which finally will lead to the project becoming a success. Therefore, this has one primary thesis:How do you achieve a successful cooperation project?Since increased cooperation is relatively new in Sweden it seems natural that the form is still in its development stage. Because of this there are divided opinions on how a cooperation project goes on, right from the procurement stage to completion. The purpose has therefore been to find out how a successful cooperation project is carried out for all parties involved in a project. To work this out, I have built the report on three main grounds: qualitative reports, questionnaire surveys and interviews. The respondents of the interviews and the surveys were carefully selected to reflect a view of reality, which in that case can be warranted for good quality.Hence I have been able to produce a comprehensive picture of how a successful cooperation project is implemented and how different parameters affect the project in different degrees.
