Nazismo nos pampas: a propaganda nacionalista alem? e a imprensa no RS (1930-1945)

From the 1930s to the mid-1945s, the world experienced, under the leadership of Adolf Hitler, an effervescence of Nazi ideologies that reached their apex with the systematic extermination of millions of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals, among others. Brazil, during the same period, had the Vargas government, which in a given period shared these ideals, and later joined the allied cause. Through mass propaganda, both established themselves in power and spread their ideals. This paper aims to analyze the propaganda spread during the period and the fundamental role it played in legitimizing actions against German immigrants in Brazil, with an emphasis on the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Through the observation and analysis of the propaganda divulged in the media communication of the period - newspapers and radios - and based on the writings of Ana Maria Dietrich, Ren? Gertz and others, will be observed the methods used to manipulate the feelings of the population to the point of justifying and legitimizing actions considered improper in other times. To this end, the discussion will involve the formative aspects of the nationalist ideal and its dangers, the instruments used for its propagation, and the fundamental role of the press in disseminating mass ideologies, presenting the social movements resulting from these actions.Da d?cada de 1930 at? meados dos anos de 1945, o mundo viveu, sob a lideran?a de Adolf Hitler, uma efervesc?ncia de ideologias nazistas que atingiram seu ?pice com o exterm?nio sistem?tico de milh?es de judeus, ciganos, homossexuais, entre outros. O Brasil, no mesmo per?odo, tinha ? frente do governo Get?lio Vargas, que em determinado per?odo compartilhou destes ideais, tendo, posteriormente, se unido a causa aliada. Por meio da propaganda massiva, ambos se firmaram no poder e espalharam seus ideais. O presente trabalho tem por objetivo analisar a propaganda difundida no per?odo e o papel fundamental que ela possuiu na legitima??o das a??es contra imigrantes alem?es no Brasil, com ?nfase do estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Atrav?s da observa??o e an?lise da propaganda divulgada nos meios de comunica??o do per?odo ? jornais e r?dios ? e com base nos escritos de Ana Maria Dietrich, Ren? Gertz e outros, ser?o observados os m?todos utilizados para manipular os sentimentos da popula??o a ponto de justificar e legitimar a??es consideradas impr?prias em outros tempos. Para tanto, a discuss?o envolver? os aspectos formadores do ideal nacionalista e seus perigos, os instrumentos utilizados para sua propaga??o e o papel fundamental da imprensa para a divulga??o de ideologias de massa, apresentando as movimenta??es sociais resultantes destas a??es
