Entre a bandeira nacional, o sigma e a suástica: o dilema dos imigrantes alemães em Santa Catarina

The German immigrant communities had been established in South of Brazil since the late XIX century; they maintained strong characteristics from their mother land, constructing independent nucleus, in terms of culture from the nation where they used to live. Instead, the political changed in Brazil during the 1930 and the aggressive international conjecture between the European Imperialists powers, especially during the II World War, disturbed the relationship between the German immigrant communities with the Brazilian Government, with its nationalization politics. In this article we will analysis the commercial relations with Germany before the War, the change of Brazilian position towards Germany Government and the Nazists, and the Nazis ecumenical Project of the Nazi's Part (NSDAP) on the foreign colonial nucleus and the conflicts resulting from this political project.As comunidades de imigrantes alemães, estabelecidas no Brasil a partir do século XIX, especialmente na região sul, mantiveram fortes traços característicos de suas terras de origem, constituindo núcleos independentes e alheios, em termos, à cultura da nação em que estavam situados. Entretanto, as transformações políticas no Brasil da década de 1930 e a conjuntura internacional de conflitos entre as potências imperialistas européias, especialmente a Segunda Guerra Mundial, perturbaram as relações entre as comunidades dos imigrantes alemães e o Estado Brasileiro, com sua política de nacionalização. São analisadas neste artigo as relações comerciais com a Alemanha antes da Guerra, a mudança de postura brasileira frente ao governo alemão e aos partidários do nazismo, os projetos ecumênicos do partido nazista (NSDAP) nos núcleos coloniais além-mar e os conflitos resultantes deste projeto político
