Gambaran Personal Penderita Rheumatoid Arhtritis Yang Hidup Di Komunitas

Background: Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic systemic inflammatory disease with no known cause. Characteristics of RA are the occurrence of damage and proliferation of the synovial membrane which causes damage to the joints, ankylosis and deformity. The causes of rheumatic diseases include: family and hereditary history, fat or obesity, age over 50 years and having experienced severe trauma to the knee until clots occur. This study aims to determine the causes of rheumatoid arthritis in patients at the Makamhaji Kartasura Health Center. Method: This type of research uses descriptive research using approach cross sectional. The population in this study amounted to 37 people. The sampling technique uses a total sampling technique where a population of less than 100 all the population is used as a research sample. The instrument used is a questionnaire, while the data analysis uses central tendency analysis. The results of research: at the Makamhaji Kartasura health center found most of the risk factors with family history and offspring of (70%) respondents, based on ideal nutritional status obtained (57%) of respondents, based on the highest age, in the 40 years and above group (76%) , for the history of injuries as much (67%) and for work history as much (38%) dominated by labor workers.
