Disparitas Ekonomi Provinsi Jawa Timur Dan Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhinya

Regional inequalities are one of the most common issues in developing countries including in Indonesia. East Java is the province with the quiet high inequalities value compared to the other provinces in Java Island. This study aims to calculate the inequality value in East Java Province and to determine factors that affect inequalities value in East Java Province. This study is of quantitative research the data used were in the form of cross-section tabulations from 38 district/municipalities in East Java Province and the time series during 2012-2016. The data were analyzed using panel data analysis with Random Effect Method regression. All research variables simultaneously affect economic disparity. Partially, the human development and Government Expenditure Index variables have a positive and significant effect on economic disparity, while the population variable has a negative and significant effect on economic disparity. While the economic growth variable has a positive and insignificant effect on economic disparity
