Ag2FeSiS4, Li2FeSnS4 a Li2FeGeS4 byly studovány metodou prvotních principů teorií funkční hustoty (DFT) s přidanou Coulombovou energií (U Hubbardův termín) k léčbě silné korelace Fe 3d elektronů. Všechny tři materiály ukázaly, ž jejich minimální pásmo (CBM) a valenční pásmo maxima (VBM) byly umístěny v bodě G, což ukazuje na přímou propojku pásma 1,99 a 2,26 eV, 2,24 eV pro Ag2FeSiS4, Li2FeSnS4 a Li2FeGeS4. V dolní části valenčního pásma dominovaly orbity S, zatímco v polovině se podílely převážně státy Sn / Ge a Ag-d. Proto byly VBM a CBM způsobeny především stavy Fe-d. Charakterizace vazby ukázala silnou kovalentní vazbu mezi atomy Fe-S, Ge-S, Sn-S, Ag-S a Si-S. Pomyslná část dielektrické konstanty odhalila, že první optická kritická bodo...
