Accessory nipples (AN) are solitary or multiple rudimentary nipples developing along the vertical embryonic milk-lines. AN involve 1-6% of the population and affects both genders equally. In some cases, AN clinically suggest either dermatofibroma or melanocytic lesions. It is important recognize AN, since it can be associated with underlying internal malignancies such as seminoma, renal adenocarcinoma as well as breast cancer, melanoma or Paget’s disease may develop within AN. For this reason an accurate analysis of AN is mandatory in order to avoid clinic-pathologic pitfalls
