Under Mediterranean type climates, a sustainable soil management aimed at increasing soil organic carbon and microbiological diversity is of key importance. The aim of this study was to characterize and compare soils from a mature Mediterranean olive (Olea europaea L.) orchard subjected to two different soil management systems (sustainable, Smng, and conventional, Cmng) for 18 years.
