Some theoretical considerations related to the study of schizophrenia

Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica con el propósito de elaborar un material que contenga elementos esenciales del estudio de la esquizofrenia como entidad psiquiátrica, se toma como referentes para el mismo: antecedentes del estudio de la esquizofrenia, impacto social, epidemiología, etiología, clasificaciones, sintomatología y formas de comienzo de la enfermedad. Se plasman los criterios de los autores y se exponen igualmente.A literature review was conducted with the aim of producing a material containing essential elements of the study of schizophrenia as a psychiatric institution is taken as referring to the same: a history of the study of schizophrenia, social impact, epidemiology, etiology, classification, symptomatology and forms of disease onset. The criteria of the authors are reflected and exposed.
