Structure cristallographique de α˗Sr2P2O7

α˗Sr₂P₂O₇ crystallizes in the probable space group Pna2₁ with four formula units in a cell of dimensions : a = 8.87 Å, b = 13.27 Å, c = 5.39 Å. The pyrophosphate ion is characterized by an opening angle P Ô P = 133°5. The two independent strontium atoms have a coordination number of 8. It is possible that a centre of symmetry exists in the compound.α˗Sr₂P₂O₇ cristallise dans le groupe Pna2₁ avec quatre unités dans une maille de dimensions : a = 8,87 Å, b = 13,27 Å, c = 5,39 Å. L'ion pyrophosphate est caractérisé par un angle d'ouverture P Ô P = 133°5. Les deux sites indépendants d'atomes de strontium présentent des environnements identiques en atomes d'oxygène (coordination 8).
