ANALISIS PENYERAPAN TENAGA KERJA DI KABUPATEN GRESIK

In general in developing countries, employment is a priority issue and must be handled annually. Population growth each year has an impact on the growth of the workforce, while in developing countries it is faced with limited available employment, especially coupled with tight global competition through free trade. This study aims to determine the effect of labor productivity, District/City Minimum Wages (MSEs) and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) both simultaneously and partially towards employment in Gresik Regency in 2001-2016. Data analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis tools for time series data for the hypothesis tested. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously labor productivity, District/City Minimum Wages (MSEs) and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) have an influence on employment in Gresik Regency in 2001-2016. While partially, the results of this study indicate that labor productivity and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) have a significant effect on employment in Gresik, while District/City Minimum Wages (MSEs) have no significant effect on employment in the Gresik Regency year 2001-2016
