International audienceUsing the macroscopic-microscopic model with the macroscopic energy determined by the Lublin-Strasbourg-Drop and the microscopic shell and pairing corrections evaluated through the Yukawa-folded mean-field potential, a certain number of yet unknown super- and hyper-deformed shapes isomers in even-even Pt, Hg, Pb, Po, Rn, and Ra isotopes are predicted. Quadrupole moments were evaluated in the local minima of the potential-energy surfaces and turned out to be in good agreement with the experimental data, that, for the time being, are only available in the ground states
