TAUSTA: Vaikka geenien ja ympäristön toisistaan riippumaton vaikutus skitsofrenian etiologiaan on osoitettu, ei aiemmissa tutkimuksissa ole kiinnitetty huomiota näiden yhdysvaikutuksiin. Suomalaisessa skitsofrenian adoptiolapsitutkimuksessa geeni-ympäristö yhdysvaikutuksen on havaittu olevan yhteydessä yleisesti adoptiolasten psykiatrisiin häiriöihin. TUTKIMUSONGELMA: Ennustimme adoptiolasten seurannassa todettuja mielenterveyden häiriöitä perustuen heidän adoptiovanhempiensa yksilö-Rorschach -testissä todettuihin kommunikaatiohäiriöihin standardisoituna puheen pituudella.
