Head, Georgia Southern University and GKR Content & Metadata Committee member.The GALILEO Knowledge Repository (GKR) is a system-wide approach to building Institutional Repositories. The concept was developed by the Regents Advisory Committee on Libraries (RACL) in August 2004 and was awarded a Federal grant (IMLS National Leadership) in 2009 to seed the project.
