Objective: Heterozygous familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) is a common autosomal dominant disorder. The vast majority of affected individuals remain undiagnosed, resulting in lost opportunities for preventing premature heart disease. Better use of routine primary care data offers an opportunity to enhance detection.
