Armas espirituales. Iglesia y orden real en la Valencia del Renacimiento (1514-1544)

En este trabajo estudiamos algunos conflictos entre la Monarquía y la iglesia valenciana a fin de analizar los recursos que ambos poderes usaban para defender su posición y su jurisdicción. Nuestro propósito es mostrar cómo frente a la superioridad pretendida por la Corona, las instituciones eclesiásticas se servían de todos los recursos posibles para defender sus libertades, aun sin cuestionar necesariamente dicha superioridadIn this paper we study several conflicts between the Monarchy and the Valencian Church in order to analyse the ressources that both powers employed to defend their position and jurisdiction.
