Il saggio si concentra sul rapporto tra "presentare e rappresentare" e sui tre paradossi intrinsechi al tema del "mostrare architettura": l'impossibilità del mostrare l'oggetto nella sua totalità; il fatto che si tratti di una riflessione tutta endogena all'architettura; il caso estremo di un autore chiamato a mettere in mostra la propria opera attraverso appunto un'opera architettonica, rendendo ulteriormente riflessiva la pratica progettuale
