Le typage moleculaire de 48 ecotypes tunisiens de palmier dattier a ete entrepris grace a l'utilisation de la technique d'analyse des microsatellites ou SSR. Les resultats obtenus montrent qu'au total 100 alleles correspondant a 16 locus rnicrosatellites cibles ont ete generes ce qui temoigne de l'hypothese selon laquelle la palmeraie tunisienne est caracterisee par une importante diversite au niveau de l' ADN. L'exploitation de ces marqueurs microsatellites a permis non seulement de mettre en evidence une conformite intra-cultivar mais egalement d' etablir les empreintes genetiques des ecotypes analyses.
