AKTIVITAS PUBLIC RELATIONS POLITIK PDI PERJUANGAN MELALUI KONSOLIDASI MENJELANG PEMILIHAN GUBERNUR BALI 2018 (Studi pada pengurus DPD PDI Perjuangan Bali)

Every political party always has a mass base in a particular area. One of them is Bali which is the base for PDI Perjuangan. In its history, the PDI was an incarnation of the Soekarno-led PNI and other ruling parties in Bali. Seeing the power of the PDI Perjuangan on the island of Bali so far, the reputation of the PDI Perjuangan was tarnished by the defeat of the governor candidate who was carried during the elections Bali 2013. So that researchers interested to examine what causes the defeat of PDI Perjuangan then and how the form of PDI evaluation Bali struggle to face pilkada in 2018 from the standpoint of political public relations. This research uses qualitative approach, with descriptive research type. The techniques used are those mentioned in SnowBall. Included from the subject is a cadre of PDI Perjuangan Bali, the position as officials of DPD PDI Perjuangan Bali, and also part of the process of winning the elections Bali 2018. The result of this research is that the political public relations activities conducted by PDI Perjuangan Bali previously looked weak, causing the defeat of the candidate governor who was carried by PDI Perjuangan in 2013. Several factors showed the weakness of PDI Perjuangan Bali's political public relations activity in 2013 namely the lack of consolidation of external parties and the absence of solidarity within the party's internal body. However, the weakness of political public relations in the past has been the material of PDI Perjuangan Bali evaluation to welcome the 2018 election celebration.
