This study aimed to investigate whether or not gender plays a significant role in determining the job satisfaction of frontline Tesco employees. This was done by breaking this aim up into three objectives and these are: (1) to analyse and discuss the key principles of job satisfaction. (2) To investigate whether or not gender plays a significant role when determining the level of job satisfaction of retail employees. (3) Identify the best possible way that managers may improve job satisfaction within Tesco. A quantitative research approach was used in order to investigate this aim.
