Many organizations rely on performance reviews as the means of evaluating their employees. However, with every perceived improvement in the process of performance evaluations, there tends to be a downside. This paper examines the impact of performance evaluations on organizations. In particular the paper sought to understand how the results of a performance evaluation within a technology company helped or hindered opportunity within the organization.
