International audienceStudents and their mobilities have been of most interest for researchers in France for the last 25 years. They are in fact played out in different spheres (studies, social and spatial) and geographical levels (all French university cities, territories of the Greater Paris Region), which leads to analysing how they differ from those of other populations. A set of research carried out between 1998 and 2015 in Geography at different levels of analysis underlines different types of student mobility to which attention should be focused, the territories on which they are based, the questions of treatment and representations that this raises.
