Effective and efficint management of a territorial unit becomes an indispensable element of the economic development of regions. The quality management system is a relatively simple tool for managing the office's work, understood as an entity providing specific services for a client-citizen, while the benefits of organizing the organization of work in the office are enormous. The perception of the brand of a given territorial unit by the environment is very important and translates into many benefits such as the number of investments or residents' satisfaction.The aim of this publication is to identify areas related to quality management systems and their impact on the image of a territorial unit. The article discusses the issue of effective management of the image of a territorial unit in the pro-quality aspect.Skuteczne i efektywne zarządzanie jednostką terytorialną staje się niezbędnym elementem rozwoju gospodarczego regionów.
