The residential respite care for elderly people with dementia: the caregivers' ways of seeing the purpose of service

Bakalářská práce Pobytová odlehčovací služba pro seniory s projevy demence: jak mohou pečující osoby nahlížet na účel služby Anna Spilková Summary This bachelor thesis named The residential respite care for elderly people with dementia - the caregivers` ways of seeing the purpose of service aims to describe various ways of perceiving the purpose of residential respite care for elderly people with dementia and reasons leading to different points of view of the caregivers. This thesis describes the respite care as one of the social care service, the caring for senior with dementia, the specifics of this care and the requirements for caregivers. Considerable part of the thesis is dedicated to the practical examples which demonstrate possible ways of seeing residential respite care and explanation of the cause of unusual perception of purpose of the service
