This research is about Lichen Ecology Study as Bioindicator of Air Quality in Kecamatan Pasar Kliwon Kota Surakarta which has been implemented on September 2017 - March 2018. The purpose of this study is to study the ecology of lichen as an air quality bioindicator in Kecamatan Pasar Kliwon Kota Surakarta. This research uses qualitative exploratory research method with purposive sampling sampling technique (exploration of purposive sampling point) and exploration is done by cruising at 2 observation station in main road of Pasar Kliwon Sub-district of Surakarta that is station 1 along Kyai Mojo Road and station 2 in Jalan Kapten Mulyadi.
