A Moravian-style anthropomorphic clay tobacco pipe found at the Stewart Site 1 (33-Bl-179), Belmont Co., Ohio, probably represents trade goods from the Delaware Indian village known as Grape Vine Town or Frank's Town, noted by General George Washington on his 1770 trip down the Ohio River. A brass tobacco pipe mold for a very similar style is also illustrated, attributed to the Moravian settlements of the Bethabara, North Carolina, district or to the Northampton Co., Pennsylvania, region
