The remnants of the prehistoric Plum Run flint quarries in Smith Township, Stark Co., Ohio, are described, along with a series of fraudulent artifacts found at the site. The stratigraphic unit in which the flint occurs is determined to be the Vanport limestone. Prehistoric distribution of artifacts manufactured from this material is limited almost entirely to northeastern Ohio
