Young Writers Workshop

IMPACT. 1: Program Director Michelle Herman works with a staff of Ohio State University faculty, graduate MFA alumni, and current graduate students. There are also sessions with visiting writers, songwriters, playwrights, and journalists. -- 2. The students get to attend daily workshops to help improve their craft as well as more specialized workshops in other areas such as writing for TV, play writing, or song writing. -- 3. It takes place during the summer of the 10th or 11th grade years. The program is free to anyone who is accepted and admissions to the program are based on writing samples.
