Experiences of adult population with unconvenial medicine

This diploma thesis deals with the experience of adult population with unconventional medicine. The thesis is conceived in two parts. The first part focuses on the theoretical definition of problems and familiarization with terms, the second part is research. The theoretical part is divided into several subchapters. The first is dealing with unconventional medicine. It describes the historical context from prehistoric times to present. Furthermore, the problems and pitfalls of today's medicine and its complementary existence. Diagnostic, therapeutic and self-help methods of alternative (unconventional) medicine are described in the next part. The practical part maps the experience of the adult population with unconventional medicine, the health problems for which the treatment is sought. It also identifies the type of therapy chosen and the motivation for choosing it. It also maps subjective success in treatment. The research in the practical part is done quantitatively by the anonymous questionnaire method
