Perceptions of the process of reception and integration: Views of immigrants in Lleida from their association experiences

Aquest article analitza les reflexions sobre l’acollida i integració que han viscut persones que tenen un rol actiu en la xarxa associativa immigrant de la ciutat de Lleida. El contingut de la recerca qualitativa constata l’interès de comptar també amb la seua perspectiva quan s’examina aquesta seqüència vital, ja que, a més de la visió individual com a persones afectades directament per l’experiència viscuda, enriqueixen l’anàlisi amb una mirada singular elaborada a partir de la seua implicació com a actors socials representatius. En aquest text es recullen les aportacions i els matisos d’aquest doble punt de vista. A partir del conjunt, s’enceta, també, una línia de reflexió sobre el rol i la implicació del conjunt del teixit associatiu en aquest procés.Paraules clau: immigració, procés d’acollida, associacionisme, integració, societat civil.This article analyses the reflections on the welcome process and integration of immigrants who play an active role in the associative immigrant network in the city of Lleida. The conclusions of qualitative research show that the perspectives of these individuals are of significant interest. They have an individual vision and a social perspective based on their involvement as representative social players. This article sets out their contributions from a twofold standpoint. We use this to also reflect on the degree to which the local associative fabric plays a role in the whole process.Keywords: welcome process, associationism, immigration, integration, civil society
