Les associacions i la integració d`immigrants estrangers

All immigrant host societies have witnessed the creation of immigrant communities or enclaves, which in industrialised countries have invariably been accompanied by the development of ethnic associations that adopt existing organisational structures. These ethnic associations work alongside mainstream organisations to promote the internal structuring of the immigrant groups and to help negotiate their participation in the host society. This article analyses tthe work of the different association that work with immigrants in the context of the different models of relations between immigrants and the host society.En todas las sociedades receptoras de inmigrantes se ha evidenciado el nacimiento de comunidades o enclaves, que en los países industrializados ha venido acompañado por la creación de asociaciones de inmigrantes que ha adoptado las estructuras organizativas autóctonas. Dichas asociaciones trabajan al lado de asociacioness ya existentes en la sociedad receptora para vertebrar las actividades de los colectivos y para facilitar su participación en la sociedad. Este artículo analiza el trabajo de las diversas asociaciones que trabajan con inmigrantes en el contexto de los diferentes modelos de relación entre los inmigrantes y las sociedades receptoras
