Commercial gentrification of the inner city of Ceské Budejovice with emphasis on the Prazske predmesti

Bachleror thesis deals with a matter of placement of facilities of services for inhabitants of the region of the central and eastern part of Prague's inner city neighbourhood in České Budějovice. It is focused mainly on the facilities of the commercial gentrification. The study area is a residential neighbourhood in the city that is affected by gentrification and regeneration of the building and building of condos that is associated with the gentrification. Facilities of the services for the inhabitants were arranged into 63 types and the facilities inducing the commercial gentrification were determined (23 types). Subsequently a detailed mapping of the placement of every facility services in the study area was realized. All in all we found 246 facilities of services 112 of which are focused on commercial gentrification. (mostly services providing beauty and health care). The quality of these facilities providing services and the demand for their goods and services were evaluated at the same time. The spreading and the character of local institutions of commercial gentrification are in a close relation to the gentrification, regeneration of houses, and building of condos that take place here
