Gentrification and revitalisation of built-up area of the inner city of Ceske Budejovice with emphasis on Prazske predmesti

Bachelor thesis deals with the processes of gentrification and revitalisation of environment in different parts of the disrict Prazske predmesti, which lies in the inner part of city of Ceske Budejovice. Includes an analysis of the relevant literature and theory, urban characteristics of study parts, working methods and results. Gentrification was examined by asking respondents, revitalisation of buldings based on field descriptions of the individual houses. It was found a considerable representation gentrifiers in population in the Prazske predmesti, but only some were unambiguous gentrifiers. Revitalisation of buldings in the Prazske predmesti is signifiant progress, it has built the kondominium are numerus and little part houses have sign sof neglect. Study parts of the Prazske predmesti were compared with other parts of the inner city study in the bachelor´s thesis.
